Brace yourselves, everyone! These reviews are really off the rails in this episode, and Tara and AJ go off the rails as well.

If you haven’t read “Passions in Death,” you will want to skip this episode. But, for the rest of you, we get a little bit…passionate (ha ha) in this episode. Seriously, we spend the first hour on just the one star reviews.

Mostly because the opinions of reviewers for this book were just so awful. Case in point:

  • “Not Interested in Woke.”
  • “…so much political garbage being shoved in your face”
  • “…DEI manifesto…”
  • “…being a straight, white male is a sign of guilt for murder to Ms. Robb. Talk about discrimination!”
  • “…Is she an activist now or is she just latching onto buzz words in an attempt to stay relevant?”
  • “Last book I’ll be buying from an author I’ve been reading for nearly 4 decades.”

The only bright spot in these reviews were the many who praise Susan Ericksen:

  • “The narration in the In Death series is masterfully done by Susan Ericksen.”
  • “The audiobook is outstanding as the narrator does a phenomenal job…”
  • “I now appreciate the continuity as well as hearing these characters come to life.”

This episode is over 2 hours long, but we hope you all enjoy our “passion.”
