“My theory/s – Doing her police job Eve is not frightened of those she comes up against. Does the job, investigates the crime, interviews the suspects, charges them. All of this is under her control. However, when it comes to Anna Whitney and Feeney’s wife, Eve has no control over them, they call the shots with their husbands, basically they do as they are told within the confines of their marriages. Trina is in charge of Eve’s appearance to a certain extent, as she is her hair, face, and body consultant. Eve has no say over this, hates having Trina let loose on her. Mira’s Admin is protective of her boss, and Eve has no sway over her or control in trying to get interviews.
Basically I think, for what it’s worth, that it’s lack of control, and Eve is not used to being in that situation . She gives orders and expects them to be carried out without question, and can order people about. However, with Anna Whitney, Feeney’s wife, Trina, and Mira’s Admin, Eve is completely out of her comfort zone, and knows it’s them who call the shots.”
