Hi, Everyone! We’re back with another “We Review the Reviews” episode, this time for “Taken in Death,” which was originally part of the “Mirror, Mirror” anthology. Unfortunately, it was really difficult to find good, thoughtful reviews for a short story, but we still managed to find some good ones including:

  • “…We deserve better than a lazy, spiritless ghostwriter”
  • ” Crude, gross, and hard to listen too while driving.”
  • “The story was ruined by the narration – which was done in a false American and Irish accent.”??
  • “…a shoddy piece of work – badly written and sensationalist.”

But we also had some good reviews such as:

  • “…emotional, with a sprinkle of humor that made just perfect.”
  • “All my favorite characters were there, and Susan Ericksen excels with her narration, as always.”
  • “Great little “time is ticking down” kind of mystery”
