This book is the last one of the novellas, and we hate to say that we’re relieved. Tara stated that she liked this book as much as she liked “Chaos,” and that is to say she didn’t really like it much at all. AJ just finds this book a bit silly, not to mention the fact that twice “talking to the dead” is mentioned and Eve rolls her eyes when EVE LITERALLY TALKED TO THE DEAD IN “POSSESSION IN DEATH!!” That being said, there are some funny moments in the book, so it is still an okay book from that standpoint. We both love when Roarke says the “didn’t come down in the last shower of rain,” and the end where Eve and Peabody are both under the influence after taking down the bad guy. Also, for some reason, Eve is a bit judgmental over the fact that one of the victims had “over a dozen bras,” which to us seems a normal amount (and we’re sure that Eve has WAY more bras/support tanks in her closet).
