This is a LONG one, everyone!

It’s also been a LONG week, so, this review of “Abandoned in Death” is kind of all over the place.

This is a bit of a departure for Nora, and at times seems more like a traditional Nora Roberts than a J.D. Robb. But, we still thought it was a great installment. Things that we especially loved:

  • JAMIE AND QUILLA!! This is Jen’s “Heart Flutter™” Moment, and we are here for it!
  • Bella the Job Boss at Mavis/Leonardo/Peabody/McNab’s house.
  • Peabody and McNab pinkie swearing.
  • Eve asking Roarke about how she could buy a piece of property so that she can fuck with “Teeg the Dick.”
  • Eve and Roarke going for pizza, Eve bringing back a slice for Galahad, and Roarke bringing back a slice for Summerset.
  • The clerks at the nail salon being so happy about being a part of the investigation because they “hearted” the video.
  • The squad having a conference at one of Roarke’s Irish Pubs in the extra large snug.

There are several more really great moments in this book, also some things that irritate us, and some YANNI’s.
